Main Street Pizza & Deli

The BEST restaurant in Lexington by far! It’s been around for a long time but it’s the best it’s ever been! Rachel, Bekah, and the staff are terrific! You could not ask for a better group. The food is great! It’s consistent every time! The only problem is trying to decide what to order! Roast beef? Lasagna ? Spaghetti? Great salad? Oh the homemade yeast bread! You can make a meal on the bread alone! If you have never tried Main Street Deli ( hard to believe if you’re local) You are truly missing out! We absolutely love it!!! We dine in take out and buy for dinners and parties! The roast beef special is incredible! Oh and end a warm chocolate chip cookie a la mode!!!

I can't even get over this gem. I've been twice so far, once for sandwiches with young kids and again for a pizza with the hubs. Everything is so delicious, especially the bread. Service is as friendly as possible, you can tell the servers really stand by the food and with reason! So glad to have this option so close to home.

We love the sandwiches and the FANTASTIC cookie skillets (get the red velvet). My daughter really likes the Italian dishes. Very nice place with great food. Love the local options when they can be had.

This is a great family owned restaurant! They are currently only opened during the week but are looking to add Saturday hours. They bake yeast rolls for buns, garlic bread, and pizza crust fresh daily. The roast beef sandwich is one of the best things you will find in this earth for the price! The desserts are amazing too. Try both cookie skillets AND the hot fudge cake featuring great grandma’s recipe! We drive 51 miles round trip from Greensboro to eat there. Go there once and you will feel like a regular!

We were in Lexington for a few things and we decided for some pizza and since we were in Main St... this place was the decision. Simple atmosphere, very "small town" feel. Great and friendly people working. Ordered the pimento cheese dip with freshly made chips. The dip warm and really great. (A tall order since Conrad and Hinckle is across the street with AMAZING pimento cheese) We ordered a large cheese pizza. It was a nice size large. Flavor was on point. All the things you want with a simple cheese pizza My 7 yo son said it was the best pizza in the universe and while I've def had some great pizza throughout my days on this planet, I would place in a top 20 list of all time mostly even top 10. Dough, sauce, and cheese were all great quality. All around great place and will definitely be returning for more.

We were staying in the area for a few days and happened upon this lovely uptown. While asking around for good places to eat, were told to try this restaurant. I had the lasagna and my husband had the famous roast beef sandwich. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious! Homemade bread is amazing. We went back the next day and ordered two more roast beef sandwiches. The staff was very friendly and chatted with us while we waited for our order. Wish we could've bought some of the bread to take home. Next time we're in the area we will definitely stop in again.

Open now but still doing renovations in back. Employees are cheerful, courteous and friendly. Menu board with suggestions is sitting beside entrance outside on the street and full menu is on the window. Everything we ordered was very good

We love you guys! Your food and service is always phenomenal. Everyone is so fast & friendly . I order the roast beef sandwich almost every time because it’s simply the best on planet earth! Your bread is heavenly and one of my favorites are the potato wedges as well . I’m going to try the cookie skillet next time too . Your chocolate fudge cake is my favorite !
